It's been a really fun year. Fittingly, the last art event of 2014 was an exhibition at Scope Art Fair Miami with Hashimoto Contemporary, as part of Art Basel Miami Beach. With 29 satellite fairs and countless pop-up shows in addition to the main fair, Art Basel is always a crazy week to say the least. It was incredible to be able to participate in an event that showcases just how broad the scope of today's art world truly is.

I created four pieces for the exhibition, and while we only had room to hang two, the response from visitors was beyond invigorating.

Other exhibitors at Hashimoto's booth included Shawn Huckins, Handiedan, Crystal Wagner and Scott Scheidly.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by and say hello. It was a complete blast meeting so many wonderful art lovers, patrons and aficionados. I find myself stepping into 2015 with more excitement and energy than is probably safe.

ogi had a sort of shy, mischievousness to him that I was fascinated with. We talked about yoga, Austin Texas, monorails, living on hippy hill and electric lighting alternatives. If you ever run into Yogi I would highly recommend saying hello.

Mommalisa (yes, that is her real name) might be the snarkiest, sharpest and most fearless lady I've ever met. During the course of a 5 block walk we took, she criticized fashions, met and smooched puppies, commented on at east 7 tattoos, and yelled across the street at more than several passing acquaintances. If Spaceman is the King of the Tenderloin, I've now met either his archnemesis or long-lost Queen.

Jack is Jack. No explanation necessary.

Steve and I were almost kicked out of a Starbucks together. Luckily we talked our way out of trouble. He had a nervous energy that was both a bit frightening and somehow inspiring.
